There are so many things wrong with Melrose that I wont even mention everything. It's noisy, due to loud inconsiderate neighbors who have parties tht are louder than some raves I've seen, until 4 or 5 in the morning, there are always drunk students wandering around the ground being loud, and it would be a compliment to call the staff "incompetant." Nobody that works there knows anything about their own lease agreement, and it was explained to me entirely wrong when I signed, so I ended up paying over $100 more a month than I was told I would be, and they didnt even tell me I was behind until I had a court summons on my door. When I inquired about it, no one seemed to know anything, and all I was told was to call this person, that person sai they had to talk to another person, and on and on. All I got was a runaround any time I needed anything done. They are all a bunch of snot-nosed teenagers who know nothing about customer service. I've even stood in the middle of the leasing office for 15 minutes while employees just stood there talking about some party they were at last night and never bothered to help me. If I could rate them lower than "generally a pain to deal with", I would. On top of that, the billing is absolutely impossible to understand, and I've received 3 court summons over the year I've been there because they said I didnt pay rent when I did. I would rather live in a broken down Yugo by the power plant. At least that wouldnt ruin my credit for the rest of my life for no reason. I wouldnt recommend living here to my worst enemy's dog's fleas.
