Tolerable at best.

Not too terrible it you're looking for a cheap decent apartment and can tolerate what comes with the territory, no pun intended.

Pros: Magically, no matter how many cars are occupying the parking spaces, you can always manage to park very close to your apartment. Also the place is quite pretty with trees all over the place. No bugs, but that's probably because I'm on the 3rd floor.

Cons: My floor squeaks loudly every time I walk on it, no matter how lightly I walk, which causes me to feel sorry for the downstairs neighbor.

Generally unfriendly atmosphere, but not enough to fear for your life. Sometimes I hear idiotic, disturbingly disfunctional screaming fights. There's also screaming children with no discipline from their parents, who are instead preoccupied with slamming doors and banging into walls for no reason, which you can feel on the other side of this 40 year old building. And then of course you got the insecure tough guys constantly trying to desperately uphold their stereotypical image with their loud booming horrible rap/bass music with closet homosexual overtones. Also it's not uncommon to see cop sirens in the parking lot.

The cooler machine that's supposed to pass as an air conditioner really sucks (even worse than the one at Comanche Wells!). It worked well for a while, but began to fail just as soon as I needed it the most during the summer. I've had to call the office repeatedly for over two months (ignoring the obviously condescending and impatient vocal tone from the office employees). It got to the point that I was calling them every morning, and they had gotten so familiar with me that they were finishing my sentences. A sign that they were obviously procrastinating. Finally they sent a very tiny and old maintenance guy who barely speaks English to spray the cooler with Coil Spray (TM) and tell me (with great effort) not to keep the air conditioner at maximum or else it'll freeze the coils..it must be kept at a level that you can't even feel any #$%!ing cold air for it to work as a COOLER. But if you concentrate real hard you may feel something slightly resembling a cool breeze, and you'll question whether or not you imagined it. Luckily there's a Wal Mart nearby and buying a cheap fan really helps (also with noise caused by the previously mentioned inconsiderate neighbors).

Not much hot water if you like taking baths, it only stays warm/hot for 1/2 of the tub. I called the office to have them fix it and they sent the same guy to tell me that the water heater was brand new, therefore I was wrong and it was false that the water was cold.

And the toilet must always be flushed 2 or more times.

Also there's no dishwasher (I live in a studio). It's probably my fault for overlooking it, but I assumed I'd at least get a freakin' dishwasher.

Like I said it's not too terrible..but honestly I can't want to get out of here.
