No roaches - the best in Albuquerque

The closer one gets to the downtown and university areas of Albuquerque, the more problems there are with rocahes and water bugs. I called several apartment complexes before signing a lease. Broadstone Heights was the only apartment complex that guarantee to me that there were no roaches. I lived there for more than a year and there were no roaches. It is the cleanest and safest apartment complex in Albuquerque. Re noise: when I lived in a 2-bedroom apartment, there was a family with children, and they were noisy. But when I moved to a 1-bedroom apartment, that part of the complex was completely quiet. The pool is heated to a good temperature and is kept very clean. It's right near Trader Joe's, which means that even if you pay a higher rent, you save a lot of money on food. Re comments on the term "luxury" - there is no apartment complex in Albuquerque that would qualify as "luxury" in terms of East Coast standards of luxury. For New Mexico, it is luxury. The muted Southwest decor colors are nice and some of the apartments have exceptional views of the mountains or the sunset (or both). They do all maintenance promptly. If you want the maintenance people to come in while you are out, you have to leave written permission.
