Was ok at first, but then everything was down hill. Was woken up at least once a week by a noisy neighbor for at least a month, and despite numerous complaints and police visits he still resides. Management is difficult to deal with and will bend the rules to favor them. Not willing to work with you in, and if found you are penalized due to negligence on their part, "oh well, stuff happens". For example, I was going out of town for a few days, leaving in the early morning (8/2) and returning very late (8/4) so I needed to pay my rent exactly on 8/1 to be within my lease agreement. When I arrived after work and during their posted business hours, the office was closed and all had gone home. I tried the drop box and found it full with checks clearly available for the taking. Not wanting to leave my check I called the office and to leave a message explaining my situation. I was bounced to another complex run by the same management firm and was given no assistance, or even a hint that they cared or would even try to help. When I paid my rent the following Monday, I was promptly greeted with a notice of noncompliance. When I probed them about their absence and the overstuffed box, "oh well, stuff happens". Truly unprofessional. I thought it would be a good place to live in order to get settled in the area. There are a ton of rules in the lease and that was the main reason for choosing Cibola Village. Forget about it, they are just there to look pretty. On any given day I could count half a dozen rules that are broken, and some right in front of the manager's office while she is there. No action is taken to insure that the violations do not take place. As for the neighborhood. Terrible. Constant street racing up and down Montgomery. Teenagers tend to aggregate in the parking lot of Rowland Nursery and spin out their cars, and on more than one occaison drive the wrong way down Montgomery. Jazzercize just happened to open up the day I moved in and that was a joy. With my windows closed and from a block away I could hear them in the apartment. And finally, let's not forget the bar that is in the strip mall across the street. It is frequented by many bikers with extremely loud bikes. No indication of anything of these things were made when I inquired prior to signing the lease. Yet more deception. I cannot wait until my lease expires at the end of the month, you couldn't pay me to stay there a day longer than I have to.
