When we moved into the apartment the previous residence had been there a few years as evident of the marks in the linoleum and on the carpets. When we inquired we were told the carpet and linoleum was still good enough. When we moved out 2 years later we were presented with a $2000 bill for carpet alone. Not even a real bill, just something they spun from a computer. I asked about the warrenty on the carpet which is 4 years. They just wanted to stick me with the price. The hot water is also the heat so to take a shower you have to turn the heat off in the winter. You can clearly see outside under the 1st floor main door unless you replace the strips yourselves. The microwave handle broke off. took 4 months to get it replaced. I had to threaten to rip it off the wall and place it outside as an advertizement. The hot water heat broke inside spilling crap water all over the carpet in the hall. My fault of course. Be careful when you move out. I made sure I had a copy every month I was there of what went wrong and made them sign it so they could not stick me with the bill and act surprised. Even when I showed them proof on the walkout they checked my folder to make sure they had a copy. Parking is a joke, often having to walk 4 buildings away. $60 a month for a garage, $30 a month for a carport. Everything else is free for all. We saw the office staff change almost every 3 months. Any place that continually advertises for maint help wanted isnt paying worth crap and that is exactly the maint you get. They lost their corporate leasing with a major employer just a mile up the road for getting too many complaints against the apartment faciliy by its employees. What does that tell you.
