The inside of our apartment is beautiful. My friends and family are amazed when they come in and see how spacious and beautiful it is once they are inside our apartment.

When we first moved in, it was a maintenance nightmare. It was nearly impossible to get anyone to fix the items that needed repair. Once things were finally taken care of, the apartment was great.

On the bad side, the parking is a literal nightmare. If you don't get a parking spot by 6 or 7 p.m. on a weekday, you are screwed. The females in my family worry about their safety if they have to park far from their vehicle just to get to work or school early in the morning. You have to pay $30 to $40 extra per month to get a covered parking spot and more to get a garage.

We are already spending too much as it is to live here, and even with your own "special parking spot", there is no guarantee that someone will not park in your designated spot.

Backing your vehicle out in the mornings is another nightmare if there is a vehicle parked illegally.

The unsupervised children is a huge problem. I like children, but unsupervised children are monsters. I've seen children throw rocks at each other and/or throwing other items that could break a window or hurt another person passing by. They ride their bikes throughout the complex, and you had better move and be on alert or else you might get hurt.

Also, I was told by the staff that background checks and credit checks are done on each tenant, yet the quality of the behavior of the tenants has gone down. Some have boxes piled on their balcony, which looks tacky, a few of the tenants would use their garage as a workshop and block the area with their vehicles (they finally left), and some of the dog owners never pick up their dog's poop.

The most disappointing for me is that every time the lease is up, they raise the rent without considering whether or not you contribute to maintaining the quality of the apartment or whether or not you pay early and are a trouble-free tenant.

I stay because of the location, but I'll be moving soon because you can find a large house for about what you pay here.
