If anyone is considering renting at this location, please take into account
the following:

1. Water heater is INSIDE the apartment and very noisy....typically water heaters
are located outside in a secure balcony area but not at this location.
2. Indoor heating is via the water heater therefore, budget for an extremely large energy bill.
3. Original construction was very poor. If you're on the lower level and someone lives above you, heed caution. You will be at the mercy of the tenants schedule who live above you. If you live on the upper level know the garage for tenant below you will be a reminder of the poor construction initially done on these units.
These units were not insulated nor was the construction/floor nailed and secured.
you will hear every move tenant above makes (even the slightest step)due to the
boards not secure nor any insulation when initially built. I've never experienced
(I've lived in many complexes across the country) this type of poor construction.
4. Appliances (washer & dryer) are original units purchased when built in 1995.
Plan on washing/drying one load 2 and 3 times. Plan on budgeting for a very high monthly energy bill due to inefficient construction and appliances throughout the units.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS POSTED FOR ALL "BROADSTONE" COMPLEXES IN ALBUQUERQUE. THEY ALL "ECHO" THE SAME . . . . NOISIER THAN THE AVERAGE APARTMENT COMPLEX DUE TO POOR CONSTRUCTION. GET SOME EAR PLUGS!

Outside looks good and in a good area (for Albuquerque), however, shoddy construction, cheap appliances and a higher than normal monthly energy bill will make you feel like you're living in the south valley.

I lived there both upstairs and later downstairs. Yes, there is some noise from upstairs. I lived in one bedroom, so only one person above me. Upstairs unit afforded me both mountain and city views. Beautiful! It's all about location. A great trailhead is 5 minutes walking distance. I would live there again. I think I'll rent a one bedroom with attached garage next time!
